Jeffrey Pearson - Class of 1991
Famous for:
Jeff Pearson was an incredibly gifted and disciplined martial artist. He both competed using(and taught children and adults)a variation of tai kwan do. In 1994, he was posthumously inducted into the Karate Hall of Fame. There was a ceremony in Florida, where Jeffrey was given his own permanent exhibit -amongst others considered the best and brightest. His family was presented w/a plaque and later, a painting of him. He was 20 when we lost him, and would have been 21 when he received this honor. Jeff made us all so proud, always- just by being himself, that this just another example of his many quiet talents.
